We considered this for my daughter (who also has infantile spasms) and were very upset when it did not turn out to be an option because her seizures were relentless and the surgery would have given her a btteer chance. We ended up doing the keto diet with amazing success. This surgery can be so great, though. There is a whole hemispherectomy foundation and they get the kids together and it's amazing tos ee photographs.
