Rick - I found the "building muscle 101" page open on my computer yesterday
and had no idea why till I came across this post - again, LOL.
I finally found your question and Scott's reply and Mike's reply.
Mike's does seem to imply that it would be better to change your eating
window on your heavy lifting days.
Are you taking in the BCAAs?

Subject: [fast5] Re: Question for Dr Herring (eating & weight training)
...In fact I asked this same question today at
http://lifespotligh
asics/ (at the bottom) and the answer I got was that it isn't necessary at
all to break my fast just to have the post workout meal. I asked there
because Scott Kustes is a personal trainer that teaches IF and has real
world experience training people using IF and weight training. I asked here
because Dr Herring has a lifetime of metabolism expertise from NIH. Two
very different backgrounds, but obviously both on the bleeding edge of a new
revolution in health.
