Re: [epilepsy] Re: (epilepsy) Re: Seizures and Medications(off topic)

i believe men are the carrier of the gene in their sperm and it is possible the man could father a child with epilepsy, plus i'm mild mentally retarded and i know i am the carrier of the gene that causes mental retardation.

Hi Danny,

Since I don't have epilepsy, I don't have the first-hand experience
of having seizures. However, if I had known Megan would have
epilepsy, would I have chosen sterilization to avoid bring her into
the world? Hind sight is 20-20, and I already know what a delightful
person Megan is and how much she enjoys life, not to mention her
sister (who doesn't have epilepsy.) My answer would be that I
wouldn't choose sterilization to avoid having a child with epilepsy.

Take care,
Tammy
