Jill,

Welcome to the group. Working with the brain is a mysterious
thing. I have had EP for 46 years and have learned a lot in
this group. I still don't know why I have Ep -- but it doesn't
concern me. I have it -- and take meds to controll the szs.

There are 25 different kinds of szs and over 30 different meds--
so hopefully you will find a med that works for your husband.
Just because Dilantin nad Phenabarb work work me doesn't mean
it does for everybody.
