[epilepsy] Re: my medication

Hi,
I'm just wondering what your time interval is between the morning and night dose and vice versa. I'm just thinking (I'm not a medic either) if there is, say, 15 hrs between the morning and night dose, then by the morning the 400mg night dose may not take you into the next day very long until the 700mg dose kicks in. This matters especially if you take the ordinary Tegretol, and not the extended release type which helps to even out dose peaks and troughs throughout the day and night.

Hi

I take tegretol for my epilepsy, some years ago my doctor
told me to split it equally over the day, i.e. 600 mg
morning and the same at night. I take 1100 mg per day, I
seem to need more in the morning. Is it better to split it
like this or would it be ok to split it say 700 mg morning
and 400 at night?

Regards

Adrien
