My son takes 800mg/day. He is thin and the Lamictal is said to make you less likely to gain weight – rather than say Depakote.

Hi there I had an appointment with my neurologist (sorry if its not spelled correctly) Had a seizure 2 weeks ago lasted 15 minutes went in an out of it.My bf timed it.No I have never called 911.my dr is upping my lamictal from 200 to 400.I am nervous about it.does anyone take a high dose of lamictal?Did it make u gain weight?I know everyone is different but just wondering
