I had grand mal SZ until I was five years old - after that - petite mal
and temporal lobe - unmedicated all through school so sometimes, kids
would say "Sue Sue" waving their hands in front of me as I dropped out
for a minute or two (petite mal) or I'd be looking at the blackboard
when the teacher began to write and like in an eye blink the board would
be full of writing.... never a dull moment... but nothing to be
embarrassed about. Some pretty famous and talented folks had SZ like
the violinist Nathen Milstein and it is said St Paul when he referred to
the "thorn in his side" was referring to Epilepsy.... just saying...
