I currently live in a MMJ state and can now use it legally, but I have used MJ for epilepsy for years. There were anti drug ads on tv in the 80's that showed brainwaves before and after using it. After using the brainwaves were flattened out. It made sense to me that it could help prevent spikes-seizures. Along with my meds, I feel that has helped me with epilepsy. There are many different strains that have been shown to have medical benefits, particularly a high CBD low THC type that has been shown to help with seizures, especially in children. As a supplement to anti seizure meds I think it can be of benefit to people with epilepsy.
