[epilepsy] Re: hi erin here

 

Yes, I'm sure a lot of people believe that.  I think a lot of the time it has something to do with the medication(s) the person is on.  However, I wonder sometimes if the person could be clinically depressed and the seizures stem from that.

In my case, one time when I was switching medications, there was a week or so where I was completely off of them.  In that amount of time, I had no tremors, I was regular, and I felt better than I had in years.  I was fortunate enough not to have a seizure then, too.  The thought crossed my mind to ask the doctor if I could stay off them and see how well I did, and if I had a seizure, to start me on medications again.  I still would like to try that, but I don't see how that's going to happen, unless I defy doctor's orders.  But I digress.
