Re: [fast5] Why no recent discussions?

No to counting calories. That is one of the joys of this eating regime to me. I really can not go shopping for 'eye of newt' and other masses of foodstuffs which I the need to prepare. I love this way of living but had a more level weight drop when I first started this end of last year. I have no problem keeping my 19+ hours free of food. I miss coffee with a bit of milk for my one and only cup of the day but I am making a big fruit salad to have after my evening meal so tht is a huge plus. I have also moved on to enjoy a range of 'fruit' teas during the day - and I never have had sugar in anything I drink (wine excepted); my evening meal is well-balanced with fish, turkey and occasional beef + veggies and couscous or brown rice.   My main slip is to have that extra glass of wine AND I know I am not exercising enough.
I am on holiday in Vermont (Scotland is my home) presently so have abandoned the Fast5 for the time being. Plan A is to incorporate 3 weekly sessions at Curves & get back to Fast5-ing. Am sure I'll be back with a successful report. I love this! Just slightly bummed as I seem to have hit a plateau.
Cheers!

Well Marty, if they did, I'm outta luck!
But if it's any help........
Here's my latest: lost 12lbs last year in run up to Xmas - maybe 2 months. Right after the holidays I had a long sojourn to US and stopped my program for many months due to much traveling. Have started this style of eating again about a month ago and have lost 10lbs very quickly. I seemed to be on a plateau even tho I find this way of eating easy and enjoyable so I'm guilty of no slip ups.
Worst thing? Not having milk in my ONE CUP of coffee in the morning.
Best thing? Feeling slimmer and generally healthier and I require less sleep with more energy.
I am off to Vermont for a wee holiday (from Scotland) so we'll see how I manoeuvre thru the wonderful breakfasts so many of the Inns have to offer.

I firmly believe that this is an eating regimen for people with a particular mind-set. I love the science and it makes so much sense. I find it easy to withstand the allure of the big food factories and the dreadful offerings most have filling their shelves.

How are you doing?

and if you find out where everyone is, lemme know!
Cheers

This group used to have a pretty steady stream of very good discussions.  Have I missed something?  Did all the conversations about Fast-5 migrate to FaceBook, Google+ or to some other venue?

Just curious.
