Shredded Brussels Sprouts with Turkey Bacon - 4g Carbs, 2g Fiber

If you're not already a fan of Brussels sprouts, you will be after tasting this side dish. Crunchy turkey bacon amplifies the flavor of tender sprouts making it a delicious accompaniment to any meal. One downside...there won't be any leftovers!

10 oz Brussels sprouts
2 tsp canola oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Kosher salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste
2 oz cooked turkey bacon
First, shred the Brussels sprouts: Slice off woody stems and remove any tough or dried outer leaves. Then, cut each sprout in half lengthwise and thinly slice from root to top. Gently tease apart the layers.
Heat skillet over medium heat and add canola oil. Saute shredded Brussels sprouts with garlic powder, onion powder, and salt & pepper to taste. After they're nice and soft (about 10 min), add crumbled, cooked turkey bacon and toss before serving.
