[epilepsy] Topamax side effects

 

I took Topamax about 9 years ago and I had bad side effects from it. I couldn't
talk clearly without stuttering and when I walked I would stumble really bad and
I had been a very avid reader before I took it, but when I was on it I could not
read at all because I could not follow and comprehend what I was reading at all
. I didn' really know that this was the Topamax that caused this until I changed
to another neurologist and he took me off of it.
I still have problems with short term memory but not like I did when I was on
Topamax. It was terrible!    Linda Hammond
