[epilepsy] Hello

 

I live in South East New Mexico. I joined this group when I heard of an epilepsy support group that was starting in my town and I realized there was more out there than just those immediatly around me.

I have tonic-clonics, but I've been seizure free for 14 months. I'm on both topamax and lamictal. I'm working with my neurologist on weaning off the topamax as some of its side effects are affecting my work.

I wanted to join this group to meet others and perhaps share stories and see maybe what it might take to get our small support group in the middle of nowhere from shriveling up and dying.
