Wow..i do feel for you..I am certainly not in your spot...my partner has the
grand mal seizures..but we have pretty much gotten them under control with
keppra and topamax..she still has her license..her dr hasn't taken it since
she always knows they are coming..we tried last year to get her on
disability..but was denied..lawyer said would take at least another year or
more..and would need to surrender her license..she isn't willing to give it
up..so with meds she has now gone four months without one..the longest
ever..but today she went to work..and had to go into the bathroom, and had a
seizure..luckily I had not left to go to work yet..so I drove to go get her
and brought her home..it's hard..sitting there during the times your loved
one is going thru that..helping them recover...i could not imagine being in
your spot..but know that you aren't alone on here..
