[epilepsy] lamictal

 

I started on Keppra XR but my prescription plan would only cover 2 refills for the year, so my doctor had me switch to Lamictal, the pharmacy gave me the generic. It caused my vision to go blurry, me to forget words, not to be able to move my head, severe neck pain and stiffness as soon as I upped the dose the 2nd level- before even reaching therapeutic levels. I switched to generic Keppra (not XR) which my insurance will cover. Its ok, but it makes me sleepy and forgetful- which I'd take over the other side effect.
