Hi Mark,
We both know in simple words "you can't drive till being seizure free for whateve the time needs to be by law". We just need to figure out in our own ways how to deal with it. I went 20 years not being able to drive.
At partial arts, how often do you go each week or month? Might the physical activity brought on the seizure? Huffing and buffing easily brought on seizure for me if breathing in and out through my mouth. If I inhaled through my nose and exhaled through my mouth, there was no problem. If I inhaled and exhaled through my mouth I was fine also. Might this be what caused the seizures?
How about the lights? Moving your head quickly with light bulbs in sight can trigger a seizure if you are light sensitive. I'm very light sensitive.
If there is no physical contact with anything that can hurt you, why not stay with it? I never let up my tennis since 1975 because of my epilepsy. Most people who have played tennis with me have seen me have complex partials. I never fell during my seizures so never pulled back from my tennis.
Mark, do you fall when having a seizure? Its all up to you in deciding if you feel its safe enough to continue. When you had both those seizures, is there anything more than just being there that might have triggured the seizures? Take care, keep a smile on your face!

Either way, I fear that I will not be able to go to class anymore. I just started class again in April (after quitting several years ago because of scheduling conflicts), then had the first one there in May. Then I had the one last night there. I was just getting the hang of things again reviewing all that I had learned before. I want to continue, but I'm not sure I can - medically speaking.

I would also like to continue driving, but that seems out of the question now (and quite frankly, I'm very pissed off about it). I'm also a little scared about what's to come. I need some encouragement and advice.
