Steve,
When I had my neuropsych test before surgery the Dr. actually told me it
is likely I lost around 5 IQ points just from having had so many
seizures a day for over a year. He also said that it is common for it
to go down additional points after surgery, depending on what area is
removed, but not everyone experiences this decrease. My IQ dropped 14
points from my pre and post surgical tests, going form 126 to 112. He
told me he was pretty sure my IQ had probably dropped 19 or 20 points
all together if I was to compare it to pre seizures, but I never had an
IQ test before that. This really sucks!!!

The results where the same. But, my question is, if results where so poor before surgery in cognitive areas, could they actually have gotten worse
