Oh yes, Sweet Potato... he was on my Facebook Friends list. But I had to unfriend him because he was making too many comments about my belly. One day when I'm down to 7% or 8%, I'll refriend him.
Seriously, I normally try to include the friendly Mr Potatohead and his lovely girlfriend Ms Sweetpotato in my diet, but for the time being, they kinda make me crave sweets so they're OUTTA HERE!! Here's a link to my doctor's website where he has a little blurb about 'taters: http://www.drmirkin
I'm thinking my mood may be related to my lack of sleep from my 4-year old not sleeping through the night lately. Whenever I start turning to Mr Hyde I'll have to just remember to slip into my Qigong pose... ahhh, that's better...

There is not another vegetable that matches its nutritional profile, it's got good quality carbs at a much lower GI than a regular starchy potato, and I think it would do wonders for your mid-day mood, seriously. I can't recommend them highly enough. I like them when they have the consistency of pumpkin pie, so I scrub them, wrap them in tin foil and bake them for an hour and then just shut the oven off. Some time later (or even the next morning) I'll throw them in the fridge and they make perfect little food-grenades.
