Broccoli W Almond Breadcrumb Topping - 7.5g Carbs, 2.5g Fiber

This delicious side dish gets an added crunch from chopped almonds.

6 cups broccoli, chopped
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs, fine
2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
2 Tbsp almonds, finely chopped
1 tsp basil, dried
1 tsp oregano, dried
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

2. Cook broccoli in boiling water 2 minutes, and drain. Rinse with
cold water; drain well. Place broccoli in an 11 x 7-inch baking dish.

3. Combine breadcrumbs and remaining 6 ingredients; sprinkle breadcrumb
mixture over broccoli. Bake at 450 degrees F for 15 minutes or until
breadcrumbs are golden brown.

Yield: 8 servings
