I would think that even more serious than suing for more money, the
person is probably guilty of a criminal offense. Similar situations
might include not informing sexual partners you have aids and having
unprotected sex, or drinking, driving and causing death or injury to
someone. I can't say how likely itwould be that the person would be
prosecuted, but it is definitely a possibility.
