Mark, that is great news! I share info about that here too from time to
time. REALLY you may want to try drinking half your weight daily in ounces
of water, as a good goal. Start with a big glass every morning first thing
before anything else as it will quickly be absorbed after no hydration all
night. A couple years ago a friend told us to let my little girl drink
Kangen Water as it may help her seizures. After 3 months we finally did and
now, thank God we did! Have studied hydration and the brain, Oxidative
Stress and Free radicals as they relate to Epilepsy and autism ever since.
Water helps flush it away from the cells and so much more. Here's a couple
great videos on why sodas and some bottled waters are bad.
Not only is there a lot of sugar in soda but the carbonated gas is very
Acidic as you will see, it takes over 20 glasses of water to neutralize the
acid in 1 soda.
www.TheKangenWaterSecret.com <http://www.thekangenwatersecret.com/> Pay
close attention to the first one on "Electrical meter testing" of the water
= ORP Testing, Oxidation Reduction Potential. A negative # is good and
antioxidizing, and a positive # indicates free radicals (+ ions) causing
oxidative damage to the cells. Free Radicals cause excess Oxidative Stress
which in turn damages DNA and Mitochondria. For example google together:
Epilepsy Antioxidants
Here's a great link about water and brain function, the info is good, I know
nothing of her products I just like how concise she puts the critical need
for hydration in brain function.
If it won't open copy and paste into your browser

Not only is water key for the brain but our organs' function, absorbability
and creation of various natural antioxidants, good acids, hormones,
tryptophan, glutathione etc all depend on hydration and these all affect the
brain! The difference with Kangen water is it is kind of like putting High
Test gasoline into a Ferrari instead regular gas, it has 4 key properties.

This time of year it is easy to become less hydrated as it is cold and we
are inclined to drink less or to drink hot beverages like coffee or tea
which only dehydrate us more. Feel free to email to email me direct for more
specific info and reports if you want, aina-pat@cox.net

Subject: [epilepsy] Bad news and good news
Hello all,
I know I haven't posted on here in quite a while, but I've been trying
something. The reason being I had a seizure back in August while mowing the
lawn. That was the bad news. The good news, however, is that I think I've
found one trigger for my seizures. I believe the reason was because I was
getting dehydrated. Then as I looked back, I remembered that the two
previous ones were both at martial arts class. So I put two and two together
and came up with the conclusion that if I start getting dehydrated, that's
when I'm more likely to have one. So now I'm trying to drink more water
during the day. I can't say I'm always successful, but I'm getting better at
remembering to do so. I've only had one close call since figuring that out,
and that day I got so busy I just didn't make the time to stop and get a
drink or two. I'm hoping to continue drinking more water and less soda, and
maybe cutting down from two seizures a year (which is good) to no seizures a
year (which would be great).
God Bless,
Mark S.
