[epilepsy] possible vns? 2 yrs post op

Well I heard word from my epileptologists office that she wants me to
consider putting in a VNS now. I just passed the 2 year anniversary of
my right temporal lobecomy on March 31st. It was partly successful in
that I went from having 3-6 complex partials a day to less. At first
they were spaced out every few weeks. At one point a bit over a year
ago I went over 90 days and drove for a little while. That ended after
a couple months. Now--I am having at least 2-3 seizures a week, and
they are worsening in intensity. Tuesday around noon I had my first one
since surgery that included automations--that was fun--scared me. So I
called her office and heard back within a couple hours. I already had
an appointment with her on May 3rd. Should be fairly interesting.
