Rick shared:
>>...I was feeling weak and mushy on Fast-5 until I cut out my daily huge
spoonful of peanut butter and beer or wine with dinner. Once I cut that
out, the weight has just melted off very easily. I suspect there's
something in your diet that's adding calories that you're unaware of.
(Starbuck's, cream in your coffee, etc). Don't forget, the point of Fast-5
is to cut calories by 20-40% below BMR. ...<<
Thanks, Rick.
It is not hard for me not to have grains, either. Then I get all goofy and
think "a calorie is a calorie" and eat some...
After yesterday, I just kept thinking to myself that it is possible I'm just
consuming too many calories.
One article I read recently (perhaps Anabolic Diet?) suggested caloric
intake was 18 x BW (I figured "ideal BW" as opposed to current BW!).
That would put me at 2394 calories (133 x 18)!!
When I was following Optimal Diet ratios, I was consuming on avg 1800
calories.
Just today, I calculated my BMR and it was 1334. with what you've stated
above, that means my calories should be at the highest, 1067. Somehow I
missed that point of cutting calories w/F5... (And I also know I've got to
re-read F5!)
I'd shared being on a calorie restricting diet last year. The calories were
1200 and I was hungry all the time.
And...eating high fat, I DO get that cream, 'ceptin' I don't drink coffee: I
just drink the cream! 2 & 3 ounces of it! Hooyah!!!
