i definitely had this problem for a good month before i slowed down. tips i can offer are:
eat meats, fats, protein as they will fill you up faster
take your time and enjoy your food
after eating a meal, or a good portion of food, wait at least 20 minutes for the food to digest and send the message to your brain that you're full
and most of all, probably the biggest factor is
willpower. after a few days, you'll know what will make you too full and feel all bloated and gross. take note of that, and make sure to stop yourself the next day before you eat that last bit of food that is going to send you overboard. also the mentality plays a huge role. i found that on days where i didn't restrict myself at all as to what i ate, as well as ignored my fasting hours (i put it out of my mind after it started, did not think about "i only have half an hour before i can't eat anymore!"), i ate comfortably, didn't over eat, didn't feel bloated, and ate just what i needed.
i hope this helps! don't worry, its expected out of the first few weeks as your body adjusts. try to tune into what your body tells you as it will be much more easier to focus on what foods make you feel which way when you're eating them during the 5 hour period.
good luck!
