This might sound dumb but have any of you ever wished that all your seizures were noticable. For example I was paying at the store the other day and blacked out for what seemed longer than normal. I was able to pay and everything and felt fine physically afterward. I know it wasn't more than a couple of seconds. I don't remember feeling like I was out but more like I am aware of coming back.
The person who worked at that store and none of the other customers in line behind me noticed, yet it felt so noticable to me.
I hate the thought that I probably look like I'm just standing there doing nothing. Get out the debit card, put it through the machine and stand there and do nothing before putting in my pin and writing my name on the machine. Like I just stand there and do nothing between each step. Wonder if it would be any easier if it were something people could notice and be more patient to give me a minute to finish.
I know it would be harder physically but would it be easier emotionally than having people just think I'm not paying attention?
Oh well,
I know it could be worse. And I have a doctors appointment (family doctor) in a few days so I can mention it to him.
Also annoys me that the only thing that works for any pain (headaches, and other things) is Tylenol 3. Prescription tylenol with codeine (sorry about the spelling). And even that doesn't work if it is mild. It helps with the few severe headaches and pains I get but if it's mild it doesn't do anything. Weird.
I hope everyone had a good day.
