There was a time several years ago when I had vision problems from Lamictal. At the time I took it twice a day a couple of hours after my morning dose for about half an hour or something I would have blurry vision and would have to cover one eye to read or anything. I think that stopped when I switched to taking it three times a day or it might have just gone away. I never had problems that changing glasses prescription would help though but I can tell you that Lamictal does affect eyes. After taking it for several years I also have problems with how bright lights can be. Even in the stores the lights seem to flicker a lot and I'me wearing my sunglasses and/or using my Acular (prescription eyedrops).
Good luck
