That is wonderful and motivating for me! I am about 1.5 weeks in. I have had 4-5 bad days & have still lost 3 pounds I wouldn't have lost otherwise. Your post helps keep me going & puts me back on the straight & narrow. So thank you! My window has been 5-10pm because I do like to have a healthy snack after the kids go to bed. I'll have to try & make sure I get some coconut oil in as well...thanks for the reminder! Keep up the great work!

I start with top quality (Artisana) coconut oil (1 T to provide fatty acids), 2 fiber supplement pills (not Citricel or Metamucil b/c they contain maltodextrin which jacks blood sugar and cravings for sugar), amino acid supplements, and a multivitamin. Then, I eat a delicious organic apple. Honeycrisp being my first choice- YUM. Sometimes, if I have been cooking dinner early and it is smelling really good, I will eat a small amount of that, and then have my apple around 4. I am usually very much running around at this time of day and between the coconut oil (fats are very satiating) and the apple I am full and energetic.

I am active (tho not a super exerciser). I have tended to eat too large of portions- but, not snacking or anything. I have not been a serial dieter- only did it seriously 1X before now. (weight-loss for dummies- online- anyone else do a lunch meat and cheese diet? never again. despite losing weight like crazy) All that, and I am about 40 lbs overweight (after losing 20 since June 2012).

It is not hard 80% of the time (where as three small meals a day is way harder for me) and it takes a very small piece of mental space to maintain (eat now? no, later). I feel very good. Brighter and clearer in face and mental outlook.
