Hi, my daughter had a rt frontal resection and then a VNS. Its hard
knowing, I think, how much help the VNS actually is. The rt frontal
surgery wasn't a cure and we were told it won't be in her case, helped to
controll the grand mals. It seems like the VNS is helpful and must help
somewhat without the side effects meds would give. My daughter is on a
truck load of anti-sz meds even after the surgery and having VNS. The
surgery was betw the 8th and 9th grade she is now 26. -Dani's Dad
