more familar with is:

we use it for Special Olympics/ Polar Plunge- Knight of Columbus. I have
done it 3 past 3 years and have raqise around $3,000. The money is raised
by sending emails with the firstgiving link to your friends, family,
asociates, etc and they charge their donation on a credit card. You can
have them give tghe extra 3% that the company charges for their fee. How
much raised is up to you and how many contacts you make make who will
donate.
