[epilepsy] Re: Employment Discrimination Case

 

Millie, you are not required to disclose any medical condition during the interview process, unless it would actually prevent you from being able to do the job in question. There are a lot of things that prospective employers aren't even legally allowed to ask you, although many ignore those laws. And the doctor, from what I read, was the employer's doctor doing a physical on Terry prior to the hire. HE determined that she was able to do the job, knowing of her medical issues, and kept those issues private, as they should be. Terry did exactly as she should have.
