RE: [epilepsy] Lamictal Insomnia

Hi

My doctor put me on Lamictal to help with my epilepsy until
I got to see the neurologist, we looked it up on the
internet, neither mum or I were impressed with the side
affects, I refused to even go to the pharmacist to get it, I
went to the clinic for my appointment with the neurologist,
last week, it was a flop, I couldn't even get in to the
building, well I got in but no further, it had 4 stairs and
then a tiny lift that the wheelchair wouldn't fit in, we had
to travel 35 miles to get there. Mum went up to see the
doctor and explain the problem he is sending me an
appointment at the hospital, not a good start, there is only
one neurologist in the area, the other is a lot further
away, I was surprised the doctor would send me to a clinic
with no wheelchair access knowing I am in a wheelchair, I
was sitting in front of him when he phoned up. See what
happens next time.

Regards

Adrien

Have you found anything that helps with the difficulty even
falling
asleep when you are taking Lamictal. I have been on this for
about
10 years now and have super trouble with sleeping. I take
400mg
daily. My seizures happen two or three times a month and it
is
only when asleep post left temporal surgery.

If experiencing similar difficulty would you please tell me
what you
may have done about this. Thanks for your time.
Doris
