You could try starting off with a low dose of Benadryl, and take it at night so you sleep it off. The other option would be to see a dermatologist--they could give you a cream or wash.

Nope! I've been taking it for several years now, and no problems. But you may want to look on http://www.askapatient.com/ to see if anyone else has had this problem.
Have you changed detergent or soap lately? That's what the reaction sounds like. I would definitely buy some Benadryl though.
