[fast5] Off to a good start

Greetings all.....I'm not new to Fast-5, as I found out about it a few years ago. But I wasn't up to fasting of any sort at the time.

Now, about 10 years into low carbing, little weight lost (but healthy as a horse) and on a plateau for over a year following a sincere push to drop some fat, I decided to try it. It's my habit to skip breakfast most days and take lunch at about 1 p.m. so I thought it wouldn't hurt too badly if I started, cold turkey. Today is Day 11 and it's going pretty well. I had a nasty headache on Day 3 and otherwise am feeling well. It's easy as pie during the week but a little dicey when I'm home all day on the weekend.

I chose 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. as my window of eating and that has worked fine. As 2 approaches I find myself quite hungry. After my break fast meal I'm pretty satisfied and have to hustle to get in another meal before the window closes. I really believe I'd be perfectly ravenous the next day if I didn't eat another meal or a hearty snack before 7 p.m.

The scale shows a couple of pounds down, water and perhaps a little fat. It gives me a good feeling to see it move. My goal weight is 130, a 20 pound loss, perhaps a shade chunky still, but with my frame and at my age I think it's about right.
