You sound like me! Don't worry...you are just having new types of seizures. The smells can either be something horrible or sicky sweet...i smell pepper. I used to have people test my food before I knew what was going on.
I've had numbness before as well...usually in my fingers. Mine comes and goes, but I guess it's neuropathy.
I went through all of this as a teenager, so I get where you're coming from.
