Re: [epilepsy] Hello from a newbie

Iris,
I was diagnosed with epilepsy 37 year ago, I'd always only had complex-partial
seizures until my last one 06/13/10.My first 72hr ambulatory eeg was last Dec.It
began at 2pm on Friday, was on till 2pm Monday when it was taken off.I reported
that I wasn't aware of any seizure.Doctors didn't find any on the recording that
I didn't notice.On 01/04/11 I had my first simple partial.I thought it'd quickly
progress into a complex-partial but it stayed simple, then in May it was the
same.I hadn't noticed any since then.
In 12/11 another 72hr AEEG is scheduled exactly the same as before,I wonder if
it should be re-scheduled so I'd just do it on weekdays.I'd go to work and live
normally rather than to take it easy on a weekend again.

Subject: [epilepsy] Hello from a newbie

Just wanted to say hi, I have had epilepsy for over 40 years now complex partial
seizures. Recently I have been having some strange episodes and I am now
waiting to see a neurologist to have an ambulatory EEG to see if these are new
seizures. They are very frightening and I do not go out much now for fear of
these happening.
