Re: [epilepsy] Anyone out there have similiar side effects.

Ericka,

On what was the battery changed? Have you asked
the Dr. to lower the level?

I had a friend who had tremors. He was told and I
have read that what is given for Parkinsons doesn't
work for tremors.

Does he have a walker or a scooter to help him get
around? Is he dizzy?

Google tremors and see what you can find. Also
whatever the battery was out in.

Millie

Subject: [epilepsy] Anyone out there have similiar side effects.

My dad has had epilepsy since he was 7 yrs old. He is now 55. Over the last 5 years his body has just been deteriating. (not sure on spelling). He worked since 17 as a bricklayer and then about 10 years ago he was forced by his dr to go on disability due to he was having to many seizures. We had the battery changed about 3 months ago and the doctor had increased the level recently. Ever since it was put in he seemed to start having memory issues and his ability to daily activities has decreased. Then after the battery change and the level increase his right hand tremors. The dr told us there was nothing we could do. I am not sure if it is causing it or not but I have my reasons to believe it to be. Now he is in the hospital. He is falling and having difficulty walking. His speech is very confusing. He doesn't make sense of things. We have in in the hospital and we are told it's not a stroke even though there were reasons to believe it was. I am wondering if anyone out there has had or a family member with these problems. I am so concerned and worried that this may be nothing we can do. I know his body has taken alot over all the years of having the seizures but there has to be something out there that can help him. I just want to see him be the same father I remember growing up with.
