It' definitely OCD. I do it all the time and I am OCD. I add up numbers in license plates. Definitely worse when I am stressed. I also have intrusive thoughts and dermatillomania and can't stand disorder and take too many baths, according to my husband.

I've been doing this for many years and it's gotten worse since my surgery. Is this some form of OCD or maybe just a way to calm the mind and deal with anxiety? Is it self stimulation? I'm not too worried about it because it doesn't hinder my quality of life.
