This natural bug repellent is supposed to be the most effective of the non-deet products. There are several linked studies shown on this web site that compares different DEET and non-DEET products. Bite Blocker lasted the longest of the natural products, and was up to 99% effective.

I am definitely going to try the Bite Blocker myself, as I try and avoid all chemicals. They have given me some really bad lung/cardiac and nervous system reactions in the past.

When our family has traveled to Asia and India on three occassions, we have used non-DEET products with good success even during monsoon season and the height of malaria season. You do have to apply them more often. We have used Green Ban and Aubrey Organics' product, but the Bite Blocker looks superior so I am going to buy some.

Love,
jnanda
