Thanks we use apple souce. It is the only thing that she will eat that she will eat do to the Autism that she suffers from and the texture problems in her mouth.

As long as the doctor says its alright to crush then the pharmist shouldn't have a say in it. The only thing I see might be a problem is if you put the crushed keppra in liquid the keppra would cling to the container (cup) versus getting in your daughter system. We give my daughter her other anti-seizure meds with a spoon full of cool-whip and it works great!

Does anybody that takes Keppra or the generic crush it? My pharmasist had a major cow about having to put ok to crush on my daughter's bottles to take to camp. There is no way she can swollow that exta large pill and the liquid just make her sick.
