RE: [epilepsy] walking on uneven surfaces

My wife has minor balance problems, but mainly a lack of strength in her right leg due to radiotherapy many years ago. A couple weeks ago we came to board a train, and due to the curved station platform there was a big gap between the platform and the train. It was not helped by the grab handle being so far inside, meaning she couldn't use it to haul herself in. So I got on the train first, then her putting her good foot on the train step, I had to pull her in using both her hands!

Hi,

Yes, My balance is terrible. I use a and/or my service dog as stability.
I just received a raised toilet seat with bars from home health, so I can get up and down safe.

Next is a shower seat and new bath mats.
