Hi,
Yes, My balance is terrible. I use a Canadian Crutch and/or my service dog as stability.
I just received a raised toilet seat with bars from home health, so I can get up and down safe.

Does anyone else have problems walking on uneven surfaces? I can walk uphill or down hill as long as it is an even surface. But walking on streets where it alternates between ice, road, a little snow, and a lot of snow in no consistent pattern, order, or shape of the ice gives me problems.
My legs come close to giving out. I try to take a small step and my leg overextends. I can't lift a leg a little, it is like the knee goes way up. I'm having a hard time explaining it.
Maybe it is a coordingation problem. Or balance?
Does this happen to anyone else? And how is it related to epilepsy? Or is it?
