Hi Kelly
Who knows, I think it could be the particular combination,
tegretol and lanactaol, who knows, he asked me if I have any
side affects from the tegretol, well the answer is no but I
suppose his logic is if it has worked so well all these
years, why change it. I didn't want to take another drug, I
wanted to see him with the problems as they were rather than
have them masked by a new drug. Also different doctors in
different countries may have different ideas.
Regards
Adrien

Strange that he doesn't like mixing EP drugs, since that is
common practice. Maybe it's the specific combination? I was
on 3 at once until a year ago, though before my surgery I
was on 3 and I was still way out of control. I see my
epileptologist next week, maybe she will recommend dropping
one more, maybe.
