I am a newbie lurker here, mom to a 15 year old daughter with epilepsy and
migraines. We actually figured out that she was having absence seizures
because her migraines got so bad we went in for further testing.
Naomi started on topamax for migraines and it has been a godsend. She is
now on a topamax and lamictal combo. When she grows and her topamax dose
is too low she starts to have headaches. We're still searching for seizure
control, slowly increasing her lamictal to see if we can get there with
these two meds.
Wondering if you could add a low dose of topamax for the headaches if they
are fairly frequent?
Best, Pam
