HI Everyone,
I am still down with my knee injury Not much else I can do. Had a seizure
last week at physical therapy.
So I decided to train Rocky some more.
As you know Rocky is my seizure alert mobility dog. I have been working with
Rocky these past two days and he has learned.
To pick up
A Pen and then the cap (by himself) which had fallen off.
A Dollar bill
A quarter, nickel penny and a dime but he had trouble with the dime.
Today we worked on a soda can this is touch and go. He has huge teeth for a
Sheppard.
I made a rope from some thinner one and we are working on opening the
fridge. Need to get a better rope.
Terri suggested to teach open and close doors. Her Zack is learning that in
dog class so I said Why Not. Have to get something better than a sticky
note. He keeps taking it off the door instead of pushing on it. LOL
We are going to be buying one of the dog door bells. I am going to put it on
the wall at Disabled door height so when we come into contact with one he
will know what to do. I am going to teach him the command Open when he wants
to go outside to potty. That way I will get him to open the disabled door
button as well.
Now I just have to make sure he des not fatten up from all this training.
