Matthew
Sorry to hear about your accident. That is something
you really didn't need. But I'm glad to hear you are still singing.
Are you still living where you were?
Happy New Year!

Millie,
Things have changed. That Barbershop Quartet I was in, replaced me
following an auto accident I was in, when a kid raced through a red light
and smashed right into me! He didn't even see me, as he was texting on his
cell phone while driving. So the group I was in, found someone else.
I spent all of 2010 in a wheelchair, and went through tons of Physiotherapy
to get me back on my feet with knee and ankle braces. My left leg doesn't
work from the knee down, and specialists are suggesting amputating it, and
replacing it with a prosthetic (fake leg).
I'm singing again, but not with the group I was in. They went on to put out
a CD of the songs I knew, but it just doesn't sound as good without my voice
in it, according to a few friends. So I'm trying to put another group
together, but they're just not as good.
Also, the woman I was dating prior to the accident, she too decided to find
someone else, as the last thing she wants is a guy in a wheelchair. Just
when I thought things were getting better, Wham!!!
Matthew
