Terry,

The generic drugs don't seem to work as well for me when it comes to the
AED's. It might just because I am usually started out on the brand name
first that makes the difference. Other types of medicine I get the generic
kind anyway, so there is nothing to compare. I had seizures after the second
dose with Keppra when the pharmacy switched it to the generic. I started
getting the doctor to write on the prescription not to substitute the
generics.Some people don't have any problems, but if I am started out on
brand name stuff, I seem to. Hope everything works out with the medicine.
