Re: [epilepsy] Anti-depressants or God(joke?)

Truthfully, God helps those who cannot help themselves!  For, if they could, they wouldn't even consider God!

And so, as the flood warnings went out, and the stubborn fool was emplored to evacuate, " God shall save me, have faith", he replied.  And the Emergency Evacuation team was withdrawn.

As the flood waters rose and ran un-controlled rapidly at will, another Emergency Evacuation team came by boat; "come aboard", they called out.

And the stubborn fool cried, "God shall save me, have faith".

And the rescue boat moved on to save others willing to help save themselves.

As the deadly flood waters rose and rose, and the only place to seek some measure of safety was the roof... an Emergency Evacuation helicopter hovered above.

"Take the line", a crewman called. "We'll pull you up to safety".

Again the stubborn fool cried out at the top of his lungs..."God shall save me, have faith!"

In an instant the stubborn fool was gone, his body recovered sometime later.

When the stubborn fool met up St. Peter, you know...guarding the 'Pearly Gates'?...well. ..when the stubborn fool met up with him, he said, "What's up with THAT? Here I'm a man of Faith placing all my hope and faith in God ... and God let me down...He let others down. God didn't save me! WHY?"

St. Peter says, "Man 'o Man! Damn man...you really are a stubborn old fool aren't you?

What do you expect God to do?

He gave ya plenty of warning...but NAH!

He sent ya a life boat...but UH-UH!

Man..God sends YOU an aircraft dude?

AND what do you do?

Fool...you're some big for your britches aren't you?", St Peter mocks.

And so my friends, a Merry Christmas and Happy Winter Solstice. .and a Very Happy New Year to All ... and to All Goodnight.

Reality check: Congrats on being seizure free; I've had 'minor incidences' on occasion. But overall not too bad. Of course there's the bag and baggage...med side effects..memory etc..etc.

Faith is a Natural psychological phenomena and not a bad one to have; it seems universal; gift from God? Who Knows...but it does exist.

My dad has always said, "God helps those who helps themselves".

Cheers! and try to keep smilin'  :)
