Hi Tristin --
That is a very good question! Most times there is no aura, or at least he doesn't remember it. When he does have an aura, he describes it as just a weird change in what's around him. He says things look different. When he was a pre-teen, he would see a flashing, floating sideways figure eight in front of his eyes. (!)
