Glad to hear that you are pursuing your case. I found out yesterday that a civil rights attorney is being appointed to my case to represent me in my employment discrimination suit. I have been trying to find an attorney to represent me since October. I have my first meeting with the opposing counsel in federal court on Thursday, and we will meet with the Judge. I will not have an attorney yet, but they have postponed my deposition until I have an attorney. I feel so much better, as I'm sure that you feel the same way, Jewl.
If enough of us demand to be treated fairly under ADA and EEOC laws, eventually people will become more educated and we won't have to fight so hard to be treated like everyone else.
Thank you to all who made suggestions and gave me support. Part of what I am asking for is that the Epilepsy Foundation of Chicago, train all the employees of the agency that fired me, about epilepsy at their expense.
