One nice thing about Fast5 is that it makes it easy to do food allergy testing. Replace the bread in the meal with a bowl of rice and see what happens. Gluten is getting a lot of press right now, but it is a very old (and common) problem. 


Checking with your doc is a good idea though. There is a simple blood test to show if a person has classic celiac (vs just intolerant, which works a little differently), but the test doesn't work after you haven't been eating gluten for awhile. True celiac requires a way more careful diet to get the body to heal. Also there are other issues that people get ... like someone we know turned out to have appendicitis and didn't catch it until it burst. Gall bladder problems will cause pain too.
